An automated database maintenance script led to a failure to process the analysis of FCAS bids for the 26/05/23 trading day. FCAS bids displayed in ez2view for the 26th may have been incomplete or not visible at all in ez2view from 27/05 until resolution Monday morning 29/05. FCAS bid data prior to the start of the 26th of May trading day was unaffected, as is data from the 27/05 trading day onwards. Energy bid processing was also unaffected. We are reviewing our database maintenance to avoid this situation reoccurring and apologise for any inconvenience.
The upstream provider we use for our email functionality to send alerts is currently experienceing some issues resulting in email notifications failing to be delivered.
The generation of required resources for daily FCAS bid data in ez2View (Bid Details Widget) was delayed this morning due to an issue in our production web server. Customers using ez2View may have experienced issues accessing up-to-date bid data in ez2View this morning when looking at the previous day. Data for the previous trading day could have been slow to access or unavailable.
The daily bid data is normally processed and available before 6am each day - once the issue was resolved and the data was available before 09:30am.
The licensing system used by NEMwatch experienced an issue related to some routine maintenance work we undertook. A small number of customers may have been seen errors related to product licensing. We have rolled back the changes and the issues have been resolved.
